happy new year! 2010 has come to tdr. i saw the big bridge (?) under construction near maihama area.

"tokyo sky tree" is also under construction. it will be about 610 meters high and will have grand opening in 2011.

tdl 10:30-  today's opening hour is from 2:00 a.m. to 22:00 p.m. even though we can stay in the park for 20 hours, i stayed only for 20 minutes. the park was very crowded. the queue for the lottery was extremely long.

entrance was full of people taking pictures with new year decorations.

the queue for great american waffle company was reaching outside the shop.

confectionery looked like a jam-packed train.

tds 10:30-　the sky was blue and it was really beautiful. it was just before "meet & smile", so the square was full of people. i attempted the lottery for big band beat for the first time this year. sad to say, the lottery machine showed me "sorry" screen.
