TDL: I'm sorry to hear that the heavy rain caused considerable damage to
western Japan.
On the other hand, the weather was nice here in Tokyo area even though
we were still in the rainy season. The park was not crowded. |

Monsters' Inc was temporarily closed for repair. FASTPASS ticketing was still
available. |

TDS: This park was also not crowded.
The wind was very strong so there was a possibility that outside shows
were cancelled. |

The strong wind hit the shop. |

Today, my friend went to Disney Vacation Club model showroom to find the
information about it.
It will open officially from July 29, but they have already opened for
business. |
|
At the model show room, cast members explained about DVC.
This is operated by Walt Disney Japan. At TDR, members can make room
reservations for Disney Hotels up to seven
months in advance (except the
reservation for New Year's Eve).

Here is the part of my delusional imagination.
Something may happen on August
14 at TDR.
On August 14, 2006(the left picture), massive blackouts hit Tokyo. On August
14, 2008 (the right picture), one company (no relation to Disney
or OLC) gave people vivid pink round paper fan with their ads at Maihama
station.
At the entrance of the park, cast members asked people to put fans in their
bags or to throw fans away.
However, many people used it inside the park, and it was the extraordinary
view.
Something
happened on this day every two years. I hope something good will happen on
the day this year. |
