Today, I came to the park with my two friends, an old lady (I call her
Grandma, but she is still young!) and a four year old girl (May-chan).
This is the first time for them to visit TDS.
As soon as the park opened, we went to "Turtle Talk".
It was really interesting and May-chan really enjoyed it.
Then we rode "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea", but May-chan cried at the end.
It seems this attraction is too scary for her. We should change our tactics.
So, we watched Mystic Rhythms, then tried Aquatopia.
She realized her long-awaited dreams of meeting and greeting Duffy.
Surprisingly (even though some of you are not surprised), it was my first
time to come to this greeting spot.
It looks like papayas will have a good innings this year.
We took a rest and ate Ukiwa-Man.
And then, I sent Grandma to "Center of the Earth" and "Indiana Jones".
I think these are "must-try" attractions in TDS.
When she came back, she had turned pale, but said she felt good and had
enjoyed them.
We saw Mythica, and then Grandma went to see Big Band Beat by herself, and
May-chan and I went to see A Table is Waiting.
As the climax of the day, Grandma tried Tower of Terror by herself.
When I met her at an exit door, she had turned pale, but said she felt good
and had enjoyed it again.
It was a hot day, but I could feel autumn in the air.
We saw "Be Magical!" from afar, played in Mermaid Lagoon, had dinner at
Zambini and went shopping.
At night, we spent time to keep viewing spaces for "Fantasmic!"
It was so crowded, but we could find spaces in the front row of standing
area.
Grandma was deeply moved by Fantasmic! Then we saw the fireworks show.
I was also deeply moved by the first fireworks after a long interval.
We left the park around 21:00. I spent 12 hours in the park.
I expected that I would be so exhausted in the humid weather, but now I have
come back refreshed and feel fine.
TDR is the place that gives me power!
